If you’re seeking advanced academic study through an Honours program, you should consider the Faculty of Business Dean’s Honours Scholarship.

You’ll undertake an accelerated study program, allowing you to complete your Bachelor of Business degree and Honours year over three years. That’s two degrees in the time it usually takes to do one! You’ll also have over $20,000 in HECS-Help paid for you throughout your studies as a Dean's Honours Scholarship recipient.

To gain the advantages of an accelerated program and financial assistance through your studies, you must apply for the Dean’s Honours Program before you commence at QUT.

Applying for entry

Firstly you must apply through QTAC for a place in QUT’s Bachelor of Business at Gardens Point. You then need to apply directly to the Faculty of Business for a place in the Dean's Honours Program as a Scholarship recipient.

In your application you will be asked to provide details on your academic achievement, leadership roles, community involvement, aspiration and career goals. Candidates may be asked to attend an interview in mid-January at the Gardens Point campus.

A full information kit including selection criteria is now available. To register to receive this information, please email bus.scholarships@qut.com or phone 07 3138 1855.

You can download the 2009 CPIE and Dean's Honours Student Application Guide (PDF, 556KB). Applications close on Friday 2 January 2009.
