Your timetable is automatically allocated through QUT Virtual once you have enrolled.
To view it visit the link 'view and change personal class allocations' on QUT Virtual in the 'student services' tab.

Timetable

Once your classes have been allocated you have access to change the class times until the end of week one. Preference for evening classes is given to part time students.

Changes to class times after week one can be made by your unit coordinator/unit administrator.

Full Timers

Each week you will normally be required to attend a lecture and a tutorial/workshop for each unit. These will be three hours in total per unit, so a normal full time load involves twelve contact hours per week. In addition to this you should allow 6 - 8 hours per unit per week for personal study time to complete tutorial work, research and review lecture notes. This means you should be spending around 30 - 40 hours per week on your studies.

Part Timers

Part time students should allow for about half of the working time of a full time student. Part time students looking to study evening classes should also be aware that evening classes are not necessarily offered in every unit in every semester, so students should plan their enrolment in advance to ensure evening classes are available for each unit. Evening classes normally run from 6 - 9pm.
