Background

Monica attended Southern Cross Catholic College and received an OP2.  Monica’s leadership qualities range from College Vice-Captain, a member of the Queensland Inter School Equestrian Association, and College Community Service Award to the Redcliffe Youth Council.

Monica’s significant academic awards include Excellence in Achievement, Outstanding Achievement Award for Accounting, Public Speaker of the Year Award as well as 2004 Lions Youth of the Year Public Speaking Award.  She also received the 2004 Redcliffe RSL Nui Dat Bursary, the 2004 Lions Youth of the Year Round Winner and was the 2004 Zonta Young Women in Public Affairs Award Finalist.

Monica has chosen a Bachelor of Business with double majors in Banking & Finance and Marketing with the view of opening her own group of companies.

Monica's work placement is with the Queensland Treasury Corporation.
