QUT Faculty of Business' Corporate Partners in Excellence (CPIE) Program offers a small group of exceptional school leavers a three-year degree qualification that includes work experience with our sponsoring organisations.
The CPIE program is open to students wishing to study the QUT Bachelor of Business majoring in any of the nine majors (Accountancy, Advertising, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management, Marketing and Public Relations).
What does the CPIE Program offer?
A Scholarship
The scholarship is worth $28,500. Students receive $9,500 per year for the three-year duration of their degree to cover HECS, University fees, textbook and living expenses paid each semester.
Real Professional Work Experience
CPIE recipients complete a three-year bachelor degree in Business, while at the same time undertaking two semesters of work experience with one or more of our CPIE sponsoring organisations.
This combination provides students with the chance to practically apply the knowledge they gain at university in a real business environment.
Further, they will have built invaluable networks, contributed to their own personal development and increased their career prospects through exposure to employers.
An Accelerated Study Program
CPIE recipients undertake an accelerated study program and receive support from an academic mentor and special tutorials where necessary, to allow them to accommodate their work experience program.
Recipients therefore graduate in normal time with an internationally accredited QUT business degree as well as real professional experience with a prestigious organisation.
