The Faculty of Business Equity website provides information on equity issues and initiatives within the Faculty of Business. The website aims to raise awareness and provide a valuable resource to support equity target groups with the Faculty. The equity target groups identified by the University include:
- People with a disability
- Indigenous staff and students
- Students from low socio-economic backgrounds
- People from non-english speaking backgrounds
- Women in non-traditional areas
- People from rural and isolated areas

Equity Initiatives Fund
The Faculty of Business Equity Initiatives Fund has been established to provide support for projects which enhance equity at QUT. The maximum grant for any one project will be $5,000. Project selection will be based upon the criteria and conditions stated in the following guidelines.

ALLY Network
2005 saw the launch of QUT's ALLY Network - a network that provides advice and support for for staff and students who identify as lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, intersex or queer (LGBTIQ).
Allies are trained to understand sexuality and gender issues and to provide 'safe zones', support and referral for staff and students who identify as LGBTIQ. Allies are not identified as any particular sexuality or gender identity but represent a commitment to promoting QUT as a safe, inclusive and diverse university.
